Fundraising

Christmas Fayre

What a huge success our Christmas Fayre was this year as we raised £1,550 for our school funds!

There were some great stalls, with the raffle proving very popular again, thanks to our Vice Chair of Governors, Mr Paul Young for negotiating some great prizes with local businesses.

This year saw the return of Santa’s Grotto and the Barnes Junior School Choir. We really appreciate donations from our generous parents to help us with our fundraising events – they really make a difference to our school.

Children In Need

This year for Children in need, the children came to school dressed in spotty or brightly coloured clothing for a donation.

We also drew a giant Pudsey bear on the floor in "The Hive" and children brought in small change to fill it up. We raised a fantastic amount of money and everyone had a wonderful day.

Sport Relief

Unfortunately due to the situation with COVID-19 our Sport Relief plans did not go quite as planned this year. But we did come to school dressed in our sporty clothes and collected an amazing amount of tins, as well as other donations to a local food bank.

The children also took on the challenge from Mr Ward to fill up the table on the yard at the end of the day with donations. Of course it ended with him swapping his usual Peterborough shirt for a Sunderland shirt!
