Barnes Junior School

Proud to learn, proud to achieve

Celebration Assemblies

Mr. Ward holds weekly celebration assemblies to reward children that have done a great job that week. These assemblies not only celebrate academic achievements, but also sporting successes, children who may have achieved their own personal goals or who have demonstrated great examples of the Barnes behaviour rules:

Ready. Respectful. Safe. Kind.

Achievement rewards usually take the form of certificates presented in front of the school so that the achievement can be celebrated together as a school community.

Our 'round table' winners, chosen by lunchtime supervisors for wonderful behaviour and manners at lunchtime, are also revealed during the celebration assembly. They can look forward to skipping the lunch queue and enjoying their meal with a member of staff on our special round table!
